1. Overview

At Own Car Driving Master, we want every student to have a smooth, confident learning experience. This policy explains how cancellations, rescheduling, and refunds work for our driving training services in Bangalore.

Please read this policy before making a booking. By confirming a booking with us, you agree to the terms below.

2. Booking Amount & Administration Fee

A 10% non-refundable booking administration fee applies to all bookings. This fee covers scheduling, instructor allocation, and administrative costs, and is retained regardless of the reason for cancellation.

Cancellations must be communicated directly to our team. Requests sent outside of business hours (6:00 AM – 10:00 PM) will be processed the following day.

4. Rescheduling

You may reschedule a session at no charge if you notify us at least 24 hours in advance. Rescheduling requests made less than 24 hours before the session will be treated as a late cancellation and may result in forfeiture of that session.

Each booking allows a maximum of 2 rescheduling requests per package. After that, a rescheduling fee may apply.

5. Paused or Discontinued Training

If you pause or discontinue your training mid-package:

• Unused sessions may be refunded on a pro-rata basis, minus the 10% admin fee, provided you request the refund within 30 days of your last session

• If you do not resume training within 1 month of your last session without notifying us, the remaining sessions will lapse and no refund will be applicable

• If you wish to resume after a lapse, a fresh booking and payment will be required

6. Cancellations by Own Car Driving Master

If we cancel or reschedule a session due to instructor unavailability, safety concerns, weather, or other circumstances within our control:

• You will be offered a replacement session at a mutually convenient time at no extra cost

• If a replacement session cannot be arranged within a reasonable timeframe, you are entitled to a full refund of the cancelled session amount (including the admin fee, in this case)

7. Refund Process

• All approved refunds are processed within 7–10 business days of the cancellation being confirmed by our team

• Refunds will be made to the same payment method used at the time of booking

• Your bank or payment provider may take additional time to reflect the amount in your account, this is outside our control

• Refunds will not be issued in cash unless the original payment was made in cash

8. Non-Refundable Situations

No refund will be issued in the following cases:

• Sessions completed as scheduled

• Cancellations made less than 24 hours before the session

• No-shows without prior notice

• Training discontinued after 30 days without a refund request

• Sessions terminated mid-session due to the student's unsafe behaviour, non-compliance with instructor instructions, or being unfit to drive

9. Disputes

If you believe a refund has been incorrectly denied, please write to us at support@owncardrivingmaster.in with your booking details and the reason for your dispute. We will review and respond within 5 business days.
